The Process
Based on the research findings from LMT1, a Labour Market
Transition stagegate process was proposed as a service
delivery model, with step-by-step procedures and "go/no-go"
decision-making points at critical stages. Decisions are guided by
pre-set criteria to continuously qualify the opportunity prior to
additional investment of resources.
LMT1 recommended conducting a pilot project to test the value
and effectiveness of the LMT process and to evaluate the model's
feasibility as an on-going, self-sustaining service.
