How Do I... welcome new employees to the company and the community?
A new employee needs to feel like an
important team member from day one. So a first step in retention is
ensuring new employees are welcomed and properly oriented. However,
new employees need extra attention well beyond their first day.
"On-boarding" refers to the activities employers need to take on
during an employee's first few days - and months - to ensure they
are integrated in their job, workplace and community.
